Catherine advises on the possibility of lodging Supreme Court/Cassation appeals, she draws up the applications or memorandum in support of the Supreme Court/Cassation appeal, or the ‘memorandum of reply’ in order to answer to an appeal in Supreme Court/Cassation.
Catherine is lawyer at the Brussels bar since 1993.
From 1995 to 2018 she worked with the late President of the Bar, René Bützler and with President of the Bar Huguette Geinger.
She handles Supreme Court/Cassation appeals concerning liability and insurance law, criminal law, civil law, civil procedural law, labour and social law. She works with President of the Bar Bruno Maes since 2019.
Catherine regularly publishes in legal journals: Larciers Duiding/Wet & Duiding (civil procedural law, road traffic law, insurance law, criminal law, criminal procedure), Wolters Kluwers Comment criminal law and Rechtskundig Weekblad.
She obtained a postgraduate degree in liability and insurance law from the University of Antwerp in 2020.
