Specialisation

Following international experience at the University of Cambridge and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) in The Hague, Eline began her legal traineeship in 2020 at the Brussels-based law firm DWL-LAW, where she primarily treated criminal law cases. Since 14 September 2023, she has been admitted to the Dutch Brussels bar.

In 2020, Eline also started her PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, conducting research on content moderation by social media platforms and the right to freedom of opinion and expression. During her research, she authored several publications in the fields of international and criminal law.

Since July 2025, Eline has been working as a lawyer at LMBD. As a member of the “Supreme Court practice group”, led by Mr. Bruno Maes and Mr. Fabrice Mourlon Beernaert, she treats Supreme Court litigation cases in various legal fields.
